Project Esperanza is an organization founded by a young American women, Caitlin McHale. She left a comfortable life in the United States to follow her heart to the Dominican Republic. She has two schools that provide educational services to 150 Haitian children. She also supports children who are homeless in a group home like setting, and supports foster home environments for other children who have been orphaned or abandoned. Caitlin is a champion for the children!
The Faith, Hope and Joy Foundation has added Project Esperanza to our projects to support through the following;
- We will provide a medical clinic to 150 children including creating medical records and the administration of anti-parasitic medications during our July 2014 trip.
- We are hopeful to provide a daily breakfast program to 150 children attending her schools starting in Septemeber 2014.
