Youth Upliftment International is an organization founded by an inspiring young Canadian woman, Kate Bateman. Through sheer determination, hard work, and love she has created a school that serves 140 Haitian children who are living in the Dominican Republic. All of the children that attend the school live in circumstances of extreme poverty. Every child has a similar story of hardship, but they all long for a brighter future and an education. Youth Upliftment is doing their best to provide a basic education to these children. In the time of assistance, Faith, Hope and Joy is provided a daily breakfast during the school, medical care through 3 medical clinics, and humanitarian aid to the 140 kids of Youth Upliftment.
